Wins 3-2, the Reds to the FA Cup Final!

Liverpool seal the ticket to the final FA Cup after getting rid of Manchester City in the semifinals. Mohamed Salah et al won 3-2 narrowly.

Man City vs Liverpool fight at Wembley Stadium, Saturday (16/4/2022) night WIB. The Reds appeared dominant in the first half.

Liverpool took a 3-0 lead at half-time thanks to a goal from Ibrahima Konate and a Sadio Mane brace. Man City responded in the second half through goals from Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva.

The score 3-2 for Liverpool became the final result of the match. Juergen Klopp’s squad qualified for the final and await the winner between Chelsea vs Crystal Palace.

The course of the match

GOL! Liverpool scored when the game had only been running for nine minutes. Ibrahima Konate listed her name on the scoreboard.

The Liverpool defender headed into Andrew Robertson’s corner. The Reds lead 1-0.

2-0! Liverpool doubled their lead eight minutes later. This time it was Sadio Mane’s turn to score against Man City.

Zack Steffen made a blunder when he tried to outwit Mane in front of goal. Mane tackled the ball which went straight into the Man City goal.

Man City played more attacking to catch up. Meeting the Liverpool defense is still difficult to penetrate Jack Grealish et al.

3-0! Liverpool scored the third goal just before halftime. Mane recorded a brace with a first-time kick that Steffen couldn’t stop.

Mane’s goal was also the closing of the first half. Liverpool lead 3-0 over Man City.

3-1! Man City step on the gas entering the second half. Jack Grealish broke into Liverpool’s goal through a shot in the penalty box, utilizing Gabriel Jesus’ short pass.

Man City got a golden opportunity in the 54th minute. Jesus’ close-range shot was blocked by Alisson Becker and only resulted in a corner.

Jesus again had a golden opportunity in the 70th minute after escaping the offside trap. Alisson’s low kick can be blocked.

Mohamed Salah almost scored Liverpool’s fourth goal four minutes later. The ball lob from him floated on the side of the Man City goal.

3-2! Man City scored the second goal in the minute of injury time. Bernardo Silva thrilled Liverpool’s net with a tap-in goal.

Man City tried to equalize with the remaining time available, but their efforts failed. The score 3-2 for Liverpool became the final result of the match.
