WINR Debutant Shares and Formula E Contractors Become Top Gainers

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The share price of the debutant issuer engaged in the property business of PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk (WINR) or Winner Group is again entrenched in the top gainers and touched the upper auto rejection (ARA) limit of 35% as of the close of session I, Tuesday (26/4/2022).

Despite dropping to the red zone, foreign investors still made a net purchase of Rp 217.34 billion in the regular market.

According to the data above, WINR shares lead the ‘table’ with an increase of 34.81%. On Monday (25/4), WINR’s share price closed at the ARA limit of 35.00%.

In the initial public offering (IPO), WINR released 1.5 billion shares to the public. The share amount is equivalent to 28.65% of the company’s issued and fully paid capital.

The funds obtained from the IPO amounted to Rp 150 billion after deducting the IPO costs. Later, WINR will use funds of around Rp. 100 billion to buy land covering an area of ​​about 10 hectares in the Batam city area.

The rest, around Rp 30 billion, will be used to buy land in the Bogor area of ​​about 7,000 meters.

WINR President Director Liu Yut Men / Yusmen Liu said the first reason the company conducted an initial public offering was to increase funding for business development. Funding is needed by WINR to achieve the targets that have been set.

“In addition, the purpose of the Company conducting an IPO is also to increase the transparency and accountability of the Company so that the Company has Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is good,” Liu said in a written statement.

According to information in the IPO prospectus of PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk, the controlling party and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) of the company is Liu Yut Men alias Yusmen Liu.

Yusmen Liu, who currently serves as the company’s President Director, directly owns 0.091% (post-IPO assumption) shares of PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk.

Meanwhile, indirectly, Yusmen controls Winner Nusantara’s shares through 99% ownership in PT Winner Nusantara Internasional’s shares.

PT Winner Nusantara Internasional is the majority shareholder of PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk, with a share of 71.248% post-IPO.

Yusmen Liu is a 38 year old Indonesian citizen. He was born in Singkawang, West Kalimantan, on July 21, 1983.

Yusmen Liu started his career as property marketing at Diamond City Mall in 2000, then started to establish PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Company in 2007 and served as director.

In addition to WINR’s shares, the shares of construction issuer JKON Group also soared 13.04 percent. JKON shares are indeed in an uptrend. At least in the past week this stock has strengthened 20.93%.

Previously, in early February, JKON had shot up to Rp. 118/unit, driven by news that the company was selected as the winner of the tender for the Formula-E circuit.

JKON won the tender after participating in the tender implementation process and several stages of selection held by PT Jakarta Propertindo (JakPro).
