Partly thanks to the 4-1 victory over Ede/Victoria, VV Barneveld has maintained its position in the fourth division. After a number of difficult seasons, VV Barneveld has played relatively easily with the first six clubs of the fourth division C, an excellent performance by coach Jason Nahumury’s renovated selection.
At Sportpark ‘t Nieuwe Oost, the yellow-blue formation from Barneveld had to beat low flyer Ede/Victoria to be assured of class retention. In the first half, Joep van den Brink scored an offside goal and there were great chances for Johannes Fieret and captain Coen Fieret before Johannes Fieret headed the bell just before half-time.
