The Chartrains did the job this Sunday, in front of Hérouville. Victorious 3-0, the men of Marouane Chtioui garnered the maximum number of points (3) and took advantage of the short success of the Touraine co-leader at Asnières (3-2) to stand out alone at the head of Pool D of National 2.
Chartres at the time of the clash of extremes
Faced with opponents who were a little tender and last in class, the locals took the reins of the game perfectly and never let them go: victory in three straight sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-21). Well led by their setter Rémi Cormier, they did not seem to suffer from the absence of their three liberos: Quentin Dunou, Anthony Debruyne and Martin Glandier.
Next meeting for the CCV: a trip to the PUC (3rd), on March 13.
