All games from NFL Sunday are in this crisp summary. Somehow, after the Miami Dolphins’ surprise win over the Baltimore Ravens, it was predictable. Week 10 in the NFL will continue just as wild on Sunday. After Aaron Rodgers is released from COVID-19 logs and prepares for the home game at Lambeau Field, America’s Game of the Week is all set for the recovered Russell Wilson. Between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders, Sunday Night Football would be hot anyway. Both teams ultimately hold the same number of wins this season. Before that, the schedule offers a few close division duels, unusual favorites falls and crazy fights for the playoffs.

Mahomes goes “all-in”
The AFC West teams are all very close together before this game day. They all count five wins. Anyone who now sleeps in direct duels and does not play their best football will find themselves out of the playoffs very quickly. The winner of the Kansas City Chiefs’ guest appearance at the Las Vegas Raiders opens the door to the postseason quite a bit. You can tell from the first second how important this game is for both teams. Because whoever wins the division is safe in the playoffs. In the first drive, the Chiefs go three and out and the Raiders are only marginally better with their offense afterwards. Then Mahomes starts an 89 yard drive, incorporates Travis Kelce and touchdown Tyreek Hill, which has not worked so well in the previous weeks. Las Vegas manages to equalize at the beginning of the second quarter. Then the evening belongs exclusively to Pat Mahomes.
At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Mahomes put on his fourth touchdown after a short two-minute drive and finally leads his chiefs onto the road to victory when the score is 34-14. The criticisms of his person and the error-prone implementation of the offense now seem blown away. Tyreek Hill has two touchdowns and Travis Kelce has his first game with over 100 receiving yards since September 26th. The chiefs seem to have broken the knot and just in time the team presented itself in the shape of the last two years when it finally went to the Super Bowl. Mahomes’ gala performance ends on the sidelines. With five touchdowns, 406 yards through 35 passes in 50 attempts, he watches his backup Chad Henne relaxed and with a big smile as he kneels at 41-14.
Colts survive jaguars catching up
Everything is going according to plan at first. Running back Jonathan Taylor rushes for 34 yards in the first play of the Colts offense. After a successful field goal attempt, Indianapolis sends the Jacksonville Jaguars off the field with Three and Out. Zaire Franklin blocks the punt and EJ Speed picks up the spinning egg and turns it into a touchdown. After eleven minutes it is already 17-0 for the home favorites because Jonathan Taylor is now playing the seventh game in a row in which he has scored at least one rushing touchdown. LaDanian Tomlinson vibes pour through Lucas Oil Stadium. For a long time Indianapolis kept the Jaguars at least eleven points ahead. But in the fourth quarter Trevor Lawrence blows to catch up and throws at the score of 23-17 shortly before the end over the middle on James Robinson at the opposing 38 yard line. Colts rookie Dayo Odeyingbo knocks the ball out of the running back’s arm and Kemoko Turay throws himself on it. Indianapolis then runs the clock down.

Cowboys dismantle Atlanta
The first NFL Sunday touchdown, thrown by Dak Prescott, ends up in the hands of CeeDee Lamb. On that day, Lamb will get another score and catch six passes for 94 yards. However, the game was already over at the break, which is why Lamb, who is still ailing, skips in the fourth quarter. After a blocked punt by Dorance Armstrong and the subsequent touchdown by the Special Teams, Dallas is 36-3 at halftime against the Atlanta Falcons. In the further course the Cowboys increase to 43 points and after the defeat in the previous week put an exclamation mark behind their title ambitions.
Heinicke wins against Tampa Bay
In the last wildcard playoffs Taylor Heinicke saw his coming out on the NFL stage. This time he confirms that the Buccaneers are his thing and what ended in a defeat a few months ago and put a damper on the later Super Bowl champion at the right moment, now results in the first win for the Washington Football Team since October 3rd. Tom Brady doesn’t cut a good figure here. Two interceptions in the first quarter alone are rare at the “GOAT”. After Chase Young’s injury (suspected cruciate ligament rupture), the Bucs come back on 23-19 before Heinicke delivers his masterpiece. With his offense in the last drive, he takes over ten minutes off the clock and exudes so much self-confidence that head coach Ron Rivera does not take the safe field goal for the seven-point lead shortly before the end, but instead lets Antonio put on a running play Gibson carries into the end zone. At 29-19, Tampa Bay got the ball back with 30 seconds left on the clock. Brady can no longer do that either.
New England Patriots: 557th 1,000th game win
For the anniversary, the Patriots managed a brilliant victory over the Cleveland Browns. Mac Jones achieved an almost flawless record of 13 passes in 15 attempts for 134 yards and two touchdowns by the break. He is the future for New England. Just like running back Rhammondre Stevenson, who played his first NFL game with more than one touchdown. Speaking of touchdown! Jacoby Meyers finally succeeds. For the third year wide receiver, the first score of his professional career was long overdue. If then the Pass Rush rolls everything down and nothing comes together at the Browns, also due to important failures, it sets a clear 45-7 victory in their own stadium and the fourth victory in a row.

Titans defy ongoing injury misery
Derrick Henry is not expected back until the playoffs. Julio Jones lands on Injury Reserve. In the game it hits Bud Dupree and thus an important pillar in the strengthened defense. Nevertheless, the Tennessee Titans wrestle the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, who are no less haunted by bad luck with injuries. Such games are won with an absolute will to win and with a fighting spirit. Both teams got involved and the winner was bitterly fought for a long time. It was seldom beautiful. After 108 total yards and a touchdown, Mark Ingram is now the most successful running back in rushing yards in the history of the New Orleans Saints. It wasn’t enough. The currently hottest Super Bowl Contender can not be fooled by anything.
Buffalo trabt locker an
It’s a mild Sunday afternoon game in New Jersey. Buffalo mostly plays with the handbrake on. A strong third quarter with three consecutive rushing touchdowns is enough to achieve a victory that is never in danger. Mike White throws four interceptions. Joe Flacco even arrives at garbage time. So White’s hypetrain is not going anywhere. Giving young talent as much playing time as possible is the way to go for the Jets in the long run. In the home game against the divisional leader you go down singing and soundless. NY loses 45-17 to Buffalo.
Steelers vs. Lions doesn’t deserve a winner
This game has everything a bad game needs. Unnecessary turnovers, weak quarterback play on both sides and in the end a missed field goal, which should give Detroit the much-awaited first win since the beginning of December 2020. Still, it got exciting, albeit partly unintentionally. In the middle of the fourth quarter, Miles Killebrew rushes into Lions punter Jack Fox. The 4th and inches resulting from the penalty is transforming Detroit. They will still not score. They also don’t use it when Pittsburgh fumbles in overtime or Mason Rudolph almost throws an interception. In the end, the Steelers are just as unable to convert a possible field goal attempt at the 38 yard line because Pat Freiermuth fumbles the ball again eight seconds before the end of overtime and returns it to Detroit. Detroit continues to win for the last time in 1955, 66 years ago in Pittsburgh.

“Camback” succeeds
It takes 3:28 minutes until the fans of the Carolina Panthers can greet their darling on the field. Seconds later, Cam Newton scored the first touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. A designed run play for the quarterback is called and although the opponent knows exactly what is coming, the power run is not stopped via the right tackle on the outside lane. At the end of the first quarter it is already 17-0. Not because of Cam, which only gets limited snaps in the Redzone. The Cardinals give up the ball too easily. Three turnovers in the first three drives are too many. First replacement quarterback Colt fumbles McCoy. Then it sets a turnover on downs in midfield and finally McCoy throws an interception. The Cardinals are no longer recovering from this desperate start and not from Cam Newton’s second touchdown, this time by attempting a pass to Robby Anderson. Carolina wins away clearly with 34-10.
Vikings @ Chargers as close as expected
In the first quarter, the two opponents watch each other and take the first tricks. So Joey Bosa lands a strip sack of fumble against Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins. But this does not result in any points. In the second quarter there are a total of 23 points and the Vikings go into the break with a 13-10 lead. The Los Angeles Chargers come out of the locker room and Justin Herbert finally puts down a decent drive. However, the tour does not last long. Minnesota even expanded to ten points. At the end there is again the procrastination that is famous for the Vikings this year. But when Dalvin Cook created a new set of downs on the sideline on the decisive 4th down, victory went to Minnesota.
First snowfall of the NFL season
By the time fans on both sides made their way to Lambeau Field, it was already snowing hard in Green Bay. The white flakes do not stay on the field, but the mud and the wet cold influence the game visibly. This alone should not serve as an excuse for the seventh failed attempt by Mason Crosby with eleven tried field goals. However, a noticeable number of players slip away and first have to familiarize themselves with the approaching winter. At halftime it is therefore only 3-0 for the Green Bay Packers against the Seattle Seahawks, which also means the lowest result at break in this NFL season. The fact that running back Aaron Jones is out at the end of the game will probably become more relevant for the Packers in the next few weeks. Because on this Sunday, the quarterback on the other side, Russell Wilson, is still visibly battered and missed some deeper pass attempts. So the game in half two goes clearly to the home team from Wisconsin and ends with 17-0.
Philly makes the day perfect for NFC East
In the hours before, the Dallas Cowboys and, surprisingly, the Washington Football Team win. From the sofa, the game-free New York Giants now have to experience how the Philadelphia Eagles also clinch a victory for the NFC East. Jalen Hurts hits his rookie wide receiver Devonta Smith early with a sugar pass. Later he nets again and comes to four catches for 66 yards in the evening and mentioned two touchdowns. Denver, on the other hand, suffered a clear defeat and gained the certainty that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will not go far this year.
