The last question was about writer Franz Kafka. “It wasn’t really the intention,” Van der Zandt joked after his victory. “It’s a bit crazy that I have to give this to the next person,” he said after receiving the prize from the previous winner.
Van der Zandt is the successor of actor Joes Brauers, who won the 23rd season of the KRO-NCRV program in January. At the time, he was too strong for photographer Jan Dirk van der Burg in the final.
