30 winners were honored for 10 donations and 11 for 25 donations. It is particularly gratifying that there are six people in Winnenden who have donated 50 times or more blood. Two of them 50 times, two 100 times and two people even an unbelievable 150 times.
Badges of honor and gifts
Lord Mayor Hartmut Holzwarth thanked all the loyal donors and presented those present with the certificate as well as the badges of honor and gifts from the city of Winnenden.
The DRK also said goodbye to a particularly committed volunteer, Magdalene Tschismar. The 92-year-old Winnenderin has been a member of the DRK for over 70 years and has been actively helping out as a voluntary helper in the DRK’s clothing room right up to the end.
For many years she has received clothing donations, sorted them and hung them in the clothes room.
Since she could not be there in person for health reasons, her daughter accepted the thanks of the DRK for many hours of volunteer work.

For 100 blood donations, the gold pin of honor with a golden oak wreath and the number 100: Helga Funaro, Gerhard Scheerer.
For 150 blood donations, the gold pin of honor with a golden oak wreath and the number 150: Rainer Wurst and Reinhardt Otterbein.
