Throughout the weekend in Sully-sur-Loire, the Blareau space hosts the gourmet lounge. Wines, foie gras, charcuterie and other local or national products have been savored by the numerous visitors, more or less in a hurry, since this Saturday morning.
The twenty-sixth edition of the gourmet fair, organized by the Sully-Gien Lions Club and the town of Sully-sur-Loire, is being held throughout the weekend at the Espace Blareau. Since this Saturday morning, around fifty exhibitors have offered the public a real culinary journey.
A weekend to delight at the Salon des gourmets in Sully-sur-Loire
Some are new, like Mathieu Berthomé who offers his first vintage of Vouvray. Coming from an industrial background, the latter changed region and profession in order to work with his wife, who did the same. The couple invites visitors to discover their first vintage of Vouvray.
“The pleasure is limitless”
Others are regulars like Michelle and Alain. The latter two, like a large part of the public, also do not hesitate to buy local products and little-known dishes offered by the exhibitors.
Artisanal beers, Corsican and Breton charcuterie, Dordogne foie gras, seafood, snails, flour and pasta, breads, truffles, honey, jams, sweets and pralines, macaroons, chocolates, dried fruits, the choice is very vast. The important thing, they specify, is “that our wallet remains prudent, even if the pleasure is limitless”.

For those less in a hurry, visitors can take advantage of dozens of tables set up in the heart of the aisles. These were filled from the opening this Saturday morning, allowing the best tasting and savoring of the culinary specialties and drinks.

A filled basket to win this Sunday
A gourmet fair that serves a purpose, as the Lions Club will distribute part of the funds raised to the local hospital. They will be used by residents of the nursing home, “with the arrival of a traveling farm, carriage rides, a visit to a barrel organ and the intervention of a beautician in 2025”, specifies the director of the nursing home. Sullylois hospital, Catherine Lancrerot.
In addition, visitors will be able to win filled baskets this Sunday following a draw.
