Wines, Chocolate, and Rugby: A Taste-filled Weekend at MEETT

Wines, local products, chocolates, rugby… This is the combination offered at MEETT from Friday October 27 to Sunday October 29, 2023. In fact, the autumn edition of the Vins et Terroirs Salon will be associated with the Chocolate & Gourmandises Salon, for more of taste pleasure. Not less than 350 exhibitors will therefore be present to showcase their products.

The opportunity to taste Corsican brocciu fritters, Alsatian specialties, Périgord walnuts and even Greek oils for the first time. A real journey for the taste buds.

Discovery workshops

Various workshops will take place in addition, for a more active discovery of the dishes. For example, animations to learn more about wine and its nuances. The Armagnac masterclasses will be a moment of sharing around the know-how and history of this 700-year-old brandy. For those convinced, an auction of wines, champagnes and spirits will also be organized.

On the chocolate side, the Lycée des Métiers de l’Hotelerie et du Tourisme d’Occitanie students have concocted three workshops on the themes “trio of chocolate candies with three types of ganache”, “chocolate macaroons with world cup rugby decorations”, and finally “festive chocolate bites on the world cup rugby theme”.

A giant screen for the World Cup

As the decorations of the apprentice gourmets suggest, the Rugby World Cup will have its own place in the living room. Fans will be able to watch the final matches on a giant screen set up inside MEETT. Something to vary the pleasures, with friends or family.
