The divorced Jacques is a gruff boy who runs a small winery on his own that is on the verge of bankruptcy. One day Hortense walks into his shop and there’s a lot of crackling between the two.

Jacques (Bernard Campan), a grumpy man in his fifties who has been single for too long, runs a small wine shop and has a closer bond with his wines than with people. Charming Hortense (Isabelle Carré) has a big heart, but no one to share it with except her cat and her bitter mother. By chance, one day Hortense ends up in Jacques’ wine shop: two worlds – which could not be more different – collide yet both notice that there is something in the other that they do not let go of. Luck seems to be on their side at first, but then misunderstandings take their course and when both are caught up in their pasts, unfulfilled dreams and high hopes, chaos is inevitable …
