Jacques has actually already said goodbye to love, in his circle he is known as a grumpy single. However, when the charming Hortense comes into Jacques’ wine shop one day and takes part in one of his wine tastings, they both immediately feel a certain chemistry.
At first, luck is on their side, they spend a lot of time together. But misunderstandings lead to chaos and old wounds are reopened. Their fears stand in the way of their happiness together. Can you overcome your fears…?

About the action of the special film
The film series “KINO Bocholt – the special film” has existed since 1977 as a cooperation between the Department of Education and Culture and the Bocholt cinema. The aim is to present extraordinary films – which would otherwise not be shown in Bocholt – to an interested audience of all ages at a reasonable price. Selected films are usually shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
