Windy Yunita Bastari Usman or Windy Idol prevented from returning abroad. Windy was prevented due to her position as a witness in the bribery case handling in Supreme Court (MA).
“Because the statement of one of the parties as a witness is still needed to shed light on this case, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again proposed a ban on one private party from traveling abroad,” said Head of KPK News Division Ali Fikri to journalists, Friday (6/10/2023) .
Windy Idol has previously been prevented KPK abroad since January 2023. The first prevention ended on July 12 2023. Now the talent search event singer has been prevented again since September 2023.
“Prevent has been submitted to the Director General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, since last month (September 2023) and for a duration of up to the next six months,” explained Ali.
“The Corruption Eradication Commission reminds the parties in question to remain cooperative in attending the investigation team’s summons,” he continued.
Windy Idol is known to have been examined three times by the KPK. He was examined as a witness for the inactive Supreme Court (MA) Secretary Hasbi Hasan who is now a suspect. Windy Idol is being questioned regarding the bribery case that ensnared Hasbi Hasan.
Windy’s examination on Wednesday (20/9) was a continuation of her examination on Tuesday (19/9). Windy was also examined on Tuesday (15/8) and Monday (29/5).
During an examination in August, Windy Idol admitted that he was questioned about the assets of the production house which allegedly belonged to Hasbi Hasan. He denied being questioned regarding the flow of funds.
“(Examined) It’s not more about the flow of funds, it’s more about talking about this company being Athena Jaya,” said Windy after being questioned at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday (15/8).
