This feature is located under Settings (under Privacy & security > App permissions), where you can see a list of recent activities to view. For example, which apps have accessed your microphone in the past week, or perhaps your camera, another obvious point of call to check for potentially suspicious activity.
Reported from Tech Radar, Sunday (6/19/2022), the new feature also keeps an eye on apps that have accessed your contacts, or details related to your location, phone calls and more.
In each instance, the user is also notified of the exact time and date of access made to the relevant hardware or function.
This new feature is quite extensive when it comes to keeping an eye on a variety of small, sensitive parts, from the obvious camera and microphone, to contacts and other details. This is great info to have in terms of transparency with regards to what the software is doing on your system.
