Windows 11 update corrupts for shared Internet

Update KB5014697 launched on June 14 destroys the hotspot capability of Windows 10, 11 and even Windows 7.

In addition, it destroys the host’s network

This is now confirmed by Microsoft in a help document. The only solution for those affected is to roll back the said update.

“After installing KB5014697, Windows devices may not be able to use the Wi-Fi hotspot feature. When you try to use the hotspot feature, the host device may lose its connection to the network after a client device connects, ”Microsoft reports, investigating the error.

This means that the host computer also loses power if another device connects. The function is useful and widely used for people on the go if the laptop or tablet does not have built-in LTE / 5G or if you do not want another line.
