Even for a large company like Microsoft, it can’t be an easy task to release a major system upgrade like Windows 11. That is the conclusion you can draw from the fact that the operating system is already getting an update that makes the necessary improvements and adjustments. Many users may be happy with this.
So many people, so many wishes. That saying does not become less true with the passage of time. This is again apparent from the load of feedback that Microsoft received about Windows 11, the latest version of the Windows operating system. For example, many people were unhappy with the taskbar.
Windows 11 update improves taskbar and more
The update is now being tested and will be released to everyone at a later date. It returns the clock and date to the taskbar on a second monitor. That’s good news, as users are no longer forced to install an additional app that adds such functionality.

In addition, the Start menu is discussed. That menu can be adjusted, so that you see more apps or recommendations. That makes the menu a bit more customizable, although many users also like to see some more third-party apps in the lists. So Microsoft is making changes, but it can do better.
The Settings application
Finally, Microsoft is making changes to the Settings app. The application inherits more parts of the Control Panel. Think of advanced sharing options (such as discovering a network, sharing files and printers, and more), for which an extra section is now available.
There are also changes to the Printers & Scanners page, and some Control Panel items now redirect directly to the Settings app. Microsoft has been trying to get that app out of the Windows ecosystem for years. And with such (small) steps, the company will automatically succeed in this.
