Even with very specific requirements for installing Windows 11, Microsoft decided to open this system to many users. With this measure, it ends up ignoring its specifications, leaving the responsibility on the users.
With the latest build of Windows 11, from the Insider program, Microsoft ends up stepping back and removing the watermark it had imposed. In addition to this novelty, there are other improvements that this version brings.
Watermark disappears from Windows 11
The latest version of Windows 11, still dedicated to Insiders, brings a novelty that many were looking for. It comes to eliminate, albeit temporarily, a change that Microsoft had placed in Windows and that was not to the liking of most users
In February of this year, Microsoft had imposed a watermark on all PCs that did not meet the requirements. This was a way of reminding users that their system might not be perfect and that it might have problems in the future.
With Windows 11 build 22610 just out now, Microsoft eventually went back and removed this watermark. Despite being something that many asked for, this removal is temporary and may return in a later build, as announced a Microsoft.
More Microsoft news in this build
In addition to this change, this build of Windows 11 brings more news to test. Microsoft mentions that there are changes in the Task Manager, which now respects the system colors in the indicators. Also, support for WEP and TKIP connections returns, albeit temporarily.
There are also changes in the File Explorer context menu, with clearer information. The mode dedicated to tablets was also removed from this system, but Microsoft also warned that may soon bring you back.
This build and all new features will be improved and prepared to form the basis of the next major Windows 11 update. Microsoft expects to release version 22H2 in early fall to further improve its new operating system.
