Windows 10X is one of the big news expected for 2021 by Microsoft, the operating system specially designed and developed for devices folding and PC of mid and low range.
In the last few hours they have leaked new details on the new operating system of the Redmond giant, according to which it will integrate a new standby mode. It should be called Modern Standby Mode the one designed by Microsoft for Windows 10X: this should make it possible wake up the device from standby instantly, with a long time shorter compared to what we are used to with current Windows 10 PCs.

The new standby mode should also allow apps to be in running in the background, so that the user can always stay updated on notifications, even when the device is not active.
Clearly the one just described it will not be the only discriminating factor between Windows 10X and its classic variant: for example, we know that a new File Explorer. At the moment still we don’t have an official date for the launch of Windows 10X, the first RTM versions would be due arrive by 2020. We will keep you updated on upcoming news.
