–
Microsoft has released the first preview version of Windows 10 version 21H1 for all insiders. This is a minor update that doesn’t bring any big changes, as the important new features have been reserved for update 21H2 which will be released in October this year.
Among the changes that we are going to find is the compatibility with several cameras of Windows Helloas well as performance improvements in Windows Defender Application Guard, including optimization of document open scenario times.
Similarly, an issue that caused a one-minute delay when opening a Microsoft Defender Application Guard Office document has been fixed. Robocopy performance has also been improved when copying files that are more than 400MB in size.
The Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Group Policy Service (GPSVC) is added updating the performance improvement to support remote work scenarios. Microsoft claims that they have corrected an issue that caused changes that the Active Directory (AD) administrator makes to user or computer group membership to propagate slowly.
Windows 10 21H1 in its preview version is now available to all users who are part of the Windows Insider program.
