KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the green after most of the trade in the red. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, Friday (17/12), the JCI rose 7.13 points or 0.11% to a level of 6,601.93 at the close of trading.

However, in a week, the JCI still fell 0.77% compared to last week’s closing.

The strengthening of the JCI was only supported by four sectors out of a total of 11 sectors on the IDX. The sectors that strengthened the most were the energy sector at 1.83%, the raw goods sector at 0.44%, the infrastructure sector at 0.16% and the transportation sector at 0.04%.

Meanwhile, the sectors that fell were non-primary consumer goods 1.38%, health sector 1.31%, property and real estate sector 0.67%, technology sector 0.47%, financial sector 0.26% and industrial sector 0.21%. .

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Friday reached 26.81 billion with a total transaction value of Rp 13.51 trillion. There were 226 stocks that rose, 302 stocks that fell and 153 stocks that were stagnant.

Foreign investors recorded a net buy of Rp 123.26 billion in all markets in the window dressing season, which is much awaited by investors at the end of the year.

Foreign notes net buy largest share in PT Suparma Tbk (SPMA) of Rp 327.1 billion. SPMA’s shares shot up 13.08 percent to Rp 735 per share. The total trading volume of SPMA shares reached 510 million with a transaction value of Rp 332.1 billion.

Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) Rp 297.8 billion also bought up a lot of foreigners on Friday amounting to Rp 297.8 billion. BBCA shares rose 3.09% to Rp 7,500 per share. The total trading volume of BBCA shares reached 110.2 million with a transaction value of Rp. 818.7 billion.

Then foreigners are also hunting for PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) of Rp. 33.5 billion. ICBP shares closed slightly higher 0.57% to Rp 8,800 per share. The total trading volume of ICBP shares reached 6.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 57.3 billion.
