Ciamis News, (harapanrakyat.com),– Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds that hit the Lakbok sub-district, Ciamis Regency on Sunday (20/06/2021) afternoon, damaged dozens of houses in Puloerang Village, Lakbok District.
A member of the Ciamis Regency Tagana, Uju Suparman, said the disaster occurred at 15.30 WIB.
“The worst location was in Sukabakti Hamlet, Puloerang Village, dozens of houses were damaged due to being swept away by the wind and crushed by fallen trees,” he said.
Uju added, from the results of the temporary assessment, it was recorded that 19 houses were damaged due to strong winds.
“We noted that 19 houses had been damaged,” he said.
The residents whose houses were damaged by the rain in RT 04 RW 01 Dusun Sukabakti, Puloerang Village, Lakbok District are Jimin (39), Junaedi (71), Rustinah (65), Sukarman (30), Damin (80), Sukiman (30 ), Yogi (44), Strong (39), Supardi (65), Sarjo (43), Saimin (46), Madno (75), and Sutejo (71).
Meanwhile, in RT 05, RW 01, Dusun Sukabakti, the houses that were damaged belong to Roni, Yatinah, Ningsih, Rahmat, and Kayah.
In addition to destroying dozens of houses, the rain accompanied by strong winds also caused the PLN line to cut off until there was a blackout.
“After the strong winds, the residents had immediately cleaned up the rubble of the roof that was falling apart due to being swept away by the wind. However, for houses that were hit by a large tree, the evacuation will be carried out the next day,” he explained. (Suherman/R7/HR-Online)
