Graz showed improvement compared to the duel almost two weeks ago, but had to admit that he lost again. With a double strike when they were outscored within 15 seconds, the Carinthians made things clear in the middle section. Valentina Ropatsch scored first, then Reaghan Pietrowski made it 3-0. The Huskies came close with a goal from Simone Graschner, but Alina Hinum made it all clear. The Lakers also took over the AWHL table lead.
The game in the Heidi Horten Arena had the motto “Pink the Rink” and was dedicated to solidarity with cancer patients and their families. After the final siren, the donation of €2,100 was made to Cancer Aid Carinthia.
