SAN DIEGO, California (EFE) .- Ranger Tommy Pham hit a four-corner hit for the San Diego Padres, who beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-4.
Pham (8) hit the other side of the wall in the first inning off pitches from starter Zac Gallen, with no runners ahead.
On the mound, the victory was credited by relay Tim Hill (5-3) in one-episode work.
For the Diamondbacks the defeat was carried by relief Matt Peacock (2-6) in two innings.
