KOMPAS.com – Malaysia’s U23 national team again achieved good results in the men’s soccer sport at the 2021 SEA Games. This time, the Malayan Tigers successfully defeated Laos in the preliminary round of Group B.
The men’s soccer sport (sports) at the 2021 SEA Games Vietnam will play a group stage match again on Wednesday (11/5/2022).
From Group B, there are two matches being played today, namely Cambodia vs Singapore and Malaysia vs Laos.

Competing at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh, Singapore managed to pick a narrow 1-0 victory over Cambodia.
Mohammad Akbar scored the only goal that gave Singapore victory over Cambodia in the 36th minute.

Malaysia also achieved good results. The Malayan tigers were able to beat Laos with a convincing 3-1 score.
Striker Malaysian national teamLuqman Hakim Shamsudin, impressed by scoring two goals against Laos in the 36th and 68th minutes respectively.
Another Malayan Tigers goal was scored by Muhamad Syahir bin Bashah in the 43rd minute.
Meanwhile, the only goal in reply to Laos in the match against Malaysia was scored by Visith Bounpaserth five minutes before dispersal.

Thailand’s collection of points is the same as Cambodia, which is on the fourth rung. However, the War Elephant Troops are ahead on goal difference over their rivals.
