Win 3-1, Die Roten Win the German Super Cup

Dortmund

Bayern Munich won the first trophy in Germany this season after winning German Super Cup. Face Borussia Dortmund, The red menang 3-1.

In the match which was held at Signal-Iduna Park, Wednesday (18/8/2021) early morning WIB, Dortmund and Bayern both lowered their best strength.

Dortmund rely on Erling Haaland, Marco Reues, and Giovani Reyna in attack. Robert Lewandowski as usual was installed by Bayern up front with the support of Thomas Mueller, Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry.

From the first minute both teams had the same strong ball possession, 50:50. However, Bayern was more aggressive by pressing the Dortmund defense through a quick attack from the wing.

Dortmund defenders had trouble with Coman and Gnabry stabs. Only Gregor Kobel’s agility in goal kept Bayern from scoring more quickly.

However, the deadlock was also broken five minutes before the break when Lewandowski listed his name on the scoreboard. Crossing Gnabry easily headed Lewandowski into the goal of Kobel.
