AC Milan won 2-0 over Genoa. This result brings the Rossoneri up again to the first position of the standings A league shift Inter Milan.
The 33rd Giornata of the Italian League 2021/2022 matches Milan vs. Genoa. The duel took place at the San Siro, Saturday (16/4/2022) early in the morning WIB.
GOL! Milan opened the scoring when the game had only been running for eleven minutes. Rafael Leao grabbed the ball crossing Pierre Kalulu from the right side.

The home team continued to attack after the first goal. Alexis Saelemaekers’ kick ball in the 35th minute still bounced over the Genoa crossbar.
Genoa almost equalized in the minutes of injury time. Pablo Galdames gets the ball in the penalty box and kicks it towards the goal. The ball slid thin in the top left corner of the Milan goal.
Galdames’ experiment was also the closing of the first half. Milan winning 1-0 at the break.
Milan got a chance five minutes into the second half. Saelemaekers stood free in the penalty box, but slipped while kicking the ball.
Milan got another chance six minutes later. Olivier Giroud’s volley still hasn’t hit the target.
Leao almost scored a brace in the 79th minute. His low shot was parried by Salvatore Sirigu.
2-0! Junior Messias doubled Milan’s lead two minutes before normal time ran out. The Brazilian nudged his shot in front of goal which Sirigu brushed aside.
Messias goal at once ended the match Milan vs. Genoa. Il Diavolo Rosso won convincingly 2-0.
An additional three points brought Milan up again to the first position of the Italian League standings with 71 points. Stafano Pioli’s squad are two points ahead of Inter, who previously won 3-1 over Spezia.
