Tournament eighth Karolína Plíšková will face the semifinalist of the recent Roland Garros, the Slovenian Tamara Zidanšeková at court number twelve. Marie Bouzková will face Russia’s Věra Zvonareva and Tereza Martincová will face 28 Alison Riske from the USA.
Jiří Veselý will be the first of the Czech tennis players to play at noon, playing with German Yannick Hanfmann. Kvitová’s tenth seed will play Stephens’s second match in the main court, where she celebrated titles ten years ago and in 2014.
