Tennis player Karolína Plíšková is in the eighth finals of Wimbledon for the third time in a row.
Twenty-five-year-old Krejčíková makes her singles debut on the grass at the All England Club. On Saturday, she eliminated Anastasia Sevastova from Latvia in three sets and extended the invincibility to 15 matches. Bartyová won the promotion through Kateřina Siniaková, Krejčíková’s doubling partner. Together, they will play the third round of doubles as the tournament number one and Wimbledon winners from 2018 on Monday.
Tournament eight Plíšková has one more day to prepare, she secured her participation in the round of 16 on Friday and a duel with Ljudmila Samsonová from Russia awaits her. The nineteenth seeded Muchová will try to follow up on Saturday’s win in the next match in the twelve against the Spaniard Paula Badosa.
