You saw him in the jury of the Play4 program on Saturday evening Dancing with the stars: Wim Vanlessen. As a dancer he was an international topper, although he always remained loyal to Antwerp and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. As a jury member, the bar may be a bit lower. “It’s not healthy to berate people.” Now that his career is in the rear-view mirror, he mainly wants to be an ambassador of dance. “I think the profession should receive more recognition here. It is better abroad.”
