Bogor Police named Willy Sulistio (39) as a suspect in domestic violence (Domestic Violence) for abusing his wife, Dr. Qory Ulfiyah (26). Willy admitted that he regretted his actions and was ready to face legal risks.
“Regret, he regrets it. In his words to us, he is very sorry,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bogor Police, AKP Teguh Kumara, to reporters, Sunday (19/11/2023).
“Indeed, he reported his actions to the police because he felt he had lost his wife and left the house and he said, ‘the important thing is that my wife is found and is safe, sir’, that’s what he told us. ‘I am then ready to accept the risks of my actions’, he said. Teguh added, imitating Wlly’s statement.
Teguh said he had not found another motive for Willy’s abuse of Dr. Qory. Willy is said to have an irritable or temperamental nature.
“Indeed, if we look at this, it’s just the emotional impact of the husband. From what his wife explained, yes (temperament). That’s why we also plan to bring in a psychologist like that, not only for the mental and psychological aspects of Doctor Qory’s wife and children, but also for the suspect as well. ,” he said.
Dr. Qory Ulfiyah (36), a victim of domestic violence, chose to remain at the Bogor Police after her husband Willy Sulistio (39) became a suspect. Dr. Qory at Bogor Police with his children.
“Until now, Doctor Qory is still in our custody, in the counseling room of the Women and Child Protection Unit (PPA) of the Bogor Police,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bogor Police, AKP Teguh Kumala when contacted by detikcom, Sunday (19/11).
“This was also at the request of the doctor Qory, that until now he does not want to go home or return to his parents’ house in Tasikmalaya,” he continued.
Dr. Qory and his children will be accompanied by the TP2TPA Bogor psychological team while they are at the Bogor Police. He will be welcome to return once his condition has completely recovered.
