This queue occurs due to the massive discount that is priced at the bakery. On January 28, today, Holland Bakery is giving a discount of 45 percent for all of its products. Discounts are given in celebration of the 45th anniversary.

Social media is filled with uploads of long queues of people lining up since morning to get discounts. Visitors are even willing to stand in line in the pouring rain.

From CNNIndonesia.com’s monitoring at the Holland Bakery Pamulang store, precisely on Jalan Siliwangi, South Tangerang, the line of visitors snaked around 30 meters outside the shop. Long traffic jams also occur due to visitors’ vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road.

In the Pekayon area, Bekasi, several lines were also seen snaking in front of the shop.

Meanwhile, in Cisauk, Tangerang Regency, residents are willing to brave the rain to stand in line in front of Holland Bakery. There were no traffic jams, but many residents lined up in the rain.

Not only in the Tangerang area, in the Bekasi area the lines were also long. Many visitors came even before the shop opened at 6.30 WIB.

Meanwhile, in Sidoarjo the line for visitors to Holland Bakery was also long. Nay (31), a resident of Sidoarjo, admitted that he was confused by the long lines at the two Holland Bakery shops he had passed.

In fact, the time was still quite early but already a lot of people who queued. He admitted that he thought that the line was for buyers who wanted to eat pecel rice.

“I left at 6.30 a.m. long queue, I don’t think people want to buy a sego pecel,” he said.
