Williamson tops Test batsmen’s rankings; Kohli without shaking; Rahane improved the ground

New Delhi: Kiwis skipper Kane Williamson has topped the ICC Test batsmen’s rankings ahead of Australian Steve Smith. Williamson jumped from third to first. Williamson scored a century in the first innings against Pakistan.

Smith’s poor performance in the Test series against India. Smith scored just 10 runs in four innings in two Tests. Indian captain Virat Kohli remains in second position. Williamson has 890 points, Kohli 879 points and Smith 877 points.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, who led India, finished sixth. Rahane improved five places to sixth with a brilliant century in the second Test.
