(ANSA) – LONDON, APRIL 17 – Prince William resumes public commitments tomorrow for the first time since last March 22nd when his wife Kate, 42, revealed in a touching video that she was struggling with a tumor of an unspecified nature and under chemotherapy. This was announced by Kensington Palace, according to which the heir to the throne will travel to Surrey and west London to highlight the positive impact of voluntary organizations on local communities. William will first visit the headquarters of a group that prepares and distributes food to the most needy and then a youth center. Last week the 41-year-old prince was seen in public for the first time, after the period away from the spotlight following Kate’s film, while in the Birmingham stadium he watched smiling with his eldest son George, 10, a match of his football team heart, Aston Villa. William’s reappearance, even in official commitments, is certainly a positive sign compared to the difficulties the Royal Family is going through. Even more so if we consider that unlike King Charles, who also underwent treatment for cancer, the Princes of Wales and their three children had not taken part in the traditional appointment for the dynasty of mass on Easter Sunday at the Chapel of St George’s Windsor Castle.
