The uncrowned dance band king William Kristoffersen (72) is tonight’s guest of honor in “Hver gang we meet”.

It is a clearly proud Ole Ivars boss who sits down at the end of the table at Kjerringøy to hear what his colleagues have come up with to interpret from his enormous song catalogue.

This year marks 60 years since Ole Ivars was started, but William Kristoffersen has been in “only” 41 of those years, as he only joined the band in 1983.
The band has won eight Spellemann awards throughout their career, including the most prestigious of them all, “Spelleman of the Year”.
