The Duke of Edinburgh will be buried on Saturday at three o’clock in the afternoon in Windsor. According to information provided by the British daily Daily Maily, Prince William and Harry will not be side by side during the ceremony. During the procession, the children of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth will first follow the coffin: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. They will be joined by Prince William and Harry, including Peter Philips, their cousin and Princess Anne’s son.
“It is a funeral. It will not be a drama, as some think. All adjustments to the procession and the order of business were approved by the Queen herself,” said a spokesman for Buckingham Palace.
William and Harry were last seen together last March at a Commonwealth Day celebration. At that time, they couldn’t even look at each other. Harry and his wife Meghan then announced that they had decided to leave the royal family. Meghan, who is in an advanced stage of pregnancy, will not arrive at Saturday’s funeral on the doctor’s recommendation.
