Monday was the tumultuous end of a session that should have been a formality. The ‘Engel case’ had actually already been dealt with in November. The OM asked for 180 hours of community service, Engel pleaded not guilty, pending a verdict. As the Rotterdammer went on holiday, that date has been moved to 16 January 2023.
