Qualifying for the sprint race in Sao Paulo was not over yet or Lewis Hamilton on Max Verstappen were in the spotlight for a reason other than their result. Both drivers have to wait and see if they will keep their place for the sprint race.
Hamilton could be disqualified for not adjusting the rear wing and DRS according to the rules. This would provide extra speed, possibly making Hamilton so much faster than Verstappen on Friday evening. This would mean starting from the back, and will likely do so from the pits. Parc Ferme has already entered and Hamilton’s car will have to be adjusted to be able to adjust the rear wing according to the rules.

Max Verstappen does something Sebastian Vettel so often did
Max Verstappen does not yet know whether he will start from P2 because he will drive the car from Mercedes would have touched. This can be seen in images circulating on social media. However, Verstappen is certainly not the only one who has done this. Sebastian Vettel did this in his time with Ferrari for example regularly, but was never punished for this. Not at all for yelling at the stewards. So Verstappen does. Whether it will only result in a fine or a penalty on the grid will become clear this afternoon.

But when Seb did it, he was cool and called ‘inspector Seb’. Never had any problems. Now Max does the same and is under investigation???? pic.twitter.com/eL3O2cZEMa

But then again, Vettel moving a Mercedes’ car. Next to the FIA man. How is that allowed? If parc ferme rules is there for everyone why didn’t Vettel get something? Next to a FIA man again! pic.twitter.com/ns7zeaPt0o
