Venom features heavily in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which was just released yesterday, and it doesn’t seem completely out of the question for the character to get his own game in the future.
When Insomniac’s Jon Paquette wasInsider GamingAsked if there would be a standalone game like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, he dropped the ball a bit and said they were mainly focused on Spider-Man 2 and how fans would react. He emphasized that it’s important to listen to what the fans want first and go from there. This could definitely be explained as Spider-Man: Venom could definitely be done in the future if interested.
First, however, the team must take a well-deserved vacation and rest properly, Paquette said, after which future projects can be discussed in more detail.
