On the same day, the complaint was investigated and the RUSDA Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee decided to lift the temporary disqualification that would allow Valiev to compete in the Beijing Olympic Figure Skating Competition for women, which will start on Tuesday and is her favorite.

For their part, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), with the assistance of the International Skating Union (ISU), will appeal the decision to revoke the temporary disqualification from the CAS.

Trimetazidine is a metabolite used to treat angina and dizziness. WADA has included it in the Prohibited List because it can increase circulatory efficiency and endurance.
