DISTANCE EDUCATION ADVICE FROM THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
In the opinion letter sent to YÖK by the Ministry of Health, it was suggested that theoretical courses in universities in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year should be conducted with distance and digital teaching methods as much as possible.
In the letter of opinion sent by the Ministry of Health to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), it was suggested that theoretical courses should be held in universities in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year in formal education, as far as possible, with distance and digital teaching methods, and in programs where practical training is compulsory, it was recommended to postpone the applications if possible.
A letter regarding the education and training processes in the Kovid-19 process was sent to the rectors by YÖK. In the article, it was stated that measures were taken by public institutions and organizations within the scope of combating the Kovid-19 global epidemic and that they were put into practice.
In the article, it was reminded that YÖK has published the “New Normalization Guide in the Global Epidemic”, which contains framework decisions regarding the measures to be taken by higher education institutions.
