Jakarta –
Twitter previously confirmed that it is exploring a new paid subscription model for some of its premium features.
In a tweet on Twitter application researcher Jane Manchun Wong on Saturday (15/5) he found out where Twitter would charge a subscription fee and the name of this Twitter subscription service.
Wong said Twitter would name the service Twitter Blue and the subscription cost was USD 2.99 or around Rp.42 thousand per month.
Twitter is calling their upcoming Subscription Service “Twitter Blue”, priced at $2.99/month for now, including paid features like:

This subscription service will also include an Undo Tweet feature and a Bookmark collection. Wong said Twitter is likely working on a tiered subscription model which means the premium experience will be experienced by the most expensive paying customers.
Reported detikINET from The Verge, Monday (17/5/2021) spokesperson Twitter declined to comment on the matter. Indeed, Twitter is known to be unusual in confirming the findings of new features that will be released. However, the features found from Wong are usually quite accurate.
In the last few weeks Twitter has been known to make a lot of new product announcements. Such as updating alerts for potentially offensive tweets, then improving the algorithm for displaying photos that display in full, and also adding the ability for Android users to search their DMs.
In addition, Twitter also launched a Tip Jar feature that allows users to donate to creators and non-profit organizations. Earlier this June, Twitter has also acquired Scroll, a subscription service for USD 5 per month that removes advertisements from participating websites.
With the Scroll announcement, Twitter also said it would stop Nuzzel, the Scroll service, from sending users daily email summaries of headlines on their Twitter feed.
