Benito Juárez Scholarship 2024: Who is eligible for support?
- Basic education: being enrolled in a public school in the in-person mode. Living in priority locations and demonstrating low family income.
- Upper Secondary Education: being enrolled in a public school in a full-time or mixed modality.
- Higher education: being enrolled in a public higher education institution.

The Ministry of Welfare, responsible for providing these financial supports for students, confirmed that, despite the expenses involved in the purchase of school supplies and uniforms, there will be no extra payment on the Benito Juárez 2024 Scholarship for this purpose, and therefore recommended that parents make prudent use of the resources.
In addition, the payment schedule for the Benito Juárez 2024 Scholarship does not contemplate any deposits on these dates, thus respecting the previously established times with payments in two installments, one of these pending for the last two months of the year.
How much does the Benito Juárez 2024 Scholarship pay?
Basic and upper secondary education
- First payment: made in January 2024, covering six months of financial support, with a total amount of five thousand 520 pesos.
- Second Payment: scheduled for November 2024, this payment will cover the remaining four months of the year, with an amount of three thousand 680 pesos. (Total of 9 thousand 200 pesos for the year 2024).
Higher education
- First payment: made in January 2024, with a total amount of 16,800 pesos, covering six months of financial support.
- Second Payment: scheduled for November 2024, this payment will be 11,200 pesos, corresponding to the remaining four months of the year. (Total of 28 thousand pesos for the year 2024).
