Where does he come from in Vršovice’s team that thrives on opponents’ fields and is among the elite six in the standings? “The end of last season helped them, the squad is the same, when the reinforcements arrived in attack. They have a decent team and I like how Bohemka plays,” admits Vondra, adding that he did not expect the Kangaroos to be. so tall.
Práva and Sport.cz publisher Robert Neumann also agrees with this opinion. “They have handled the end of the season perfectly and now they have got off to a good start. It amazes me how they fare.” Bohemka has always benefited from the home environment, “laughs the 50-year-old Neumann, who has also found something in Ďolíček during his career. He also believes the Kangaroos will be successful at home. “Then the main thing will be that they continue to do well away from home,” he hopes.
The path to successful results in Vršovice traditionally passes through collective performances, when they fight for each other and no one loses a single match. “Now you can see Roman Květ. Everyone knew he was a quality player, but I didn’t expect him to score eight goals in less than a season,” admits Vondra. “Let him go on,” says the footballer.
Together with Puskáč and Hronk, Květ is the driving force of the Vršovice team. “He would help Puskáč if he played all season. I hope he finds a way to stay healthy,” Vondra finds another key that opens the gate to Bohemian football at the higher levels of the table.
But would the performance of any of the players in Ďolíček explicitly suggest a transfer? In such judgments, experts are cautious. “Bohemka plays as a team, if anyone impresses me enough to go to Manchester United, they probably don’t,” thinks Robert Neumann.
Moderator Aleš Svoboda says he has already heard that one of the best clubs in the Czech Republic should keep an eye on fall striker Květ. “When things go well, offensive players come out. It’s about goals and numbers, when you have them it is clear that it will arouse the interest of the best”, adds Vondra to the topic. However, he too has no idea how far a potential courtship is and whether the transfer lasso is really whizzing in Vršovice.
