Will the Tihange 2 nuclear reactor close permanently today?

Today, just before midnight, nuclear reactor Tihange 2 will be permanently disconnected from the electricity grid. After Doel 3, this means that the second nuclear reactor will disappear from the Belgian nuclear park. However, Doel 3 and Tihange 2 are more than 7 years younger than our three oldest nuclear reactors and they are better protected. But when hydrogen inclusions (so-called “cracks”) were found in the reactor vessels in 2012, the fate of the two nuclear reactors was sealed. A lifespan extension no longer seemed to sell politically. Seemed, because there are cracks in the armor against Tihange 2 and Doel 3.
