The summer holidays are slowly coming to an end, but the weather gods still have beautiful days in store for us. “The last week of summer vacation is promising,” said meteorologist Frank Deboosere.
Although we will still see bright sunshine on Thursday with maximum temperatures of 19 degrees in the Ardennes to 24 degrees in Flanders, the clouds will gradually lift from the west on Friday. “A large band of clouds will pass on Friday and Saturday. It would remain dry in most areas on Friday. The prospects for Saturday are more uncertain. But it looks like it will be brutally warm with showers and a chance of thunder,” said meteorologist Frank Deboosere.
We can expect better weather again from Sunday, it feels. “From Sunday we will see an improvement in the weather. The temperature drops a little again, to 20 to 21 degrees. But it is still dry and very sunny,” says Deboosere.
“Those temperatures will gradually increase over the next week. Up to 22 degrees early next week. It could even reach 25 degrees by the middle of next week. Dry, pleasant and sunny weather again. Perfect for anyone looking to make the most of the last week of their summer holiday.”
“The last week of summer vacation is promising,” concluded Deboosere. It remains to be seen whether the sun will be there on the first day of school.
