Money doesn’t stink. The old adage applies everywhere. So also in Formula 1, which is always greedy for money. More and more people want to migrate to countries where the GP dollars are looser than in Europe. Germany will probably never get its Grand Prix back. France, Spain and Belgium are in latent danger. The Almighty no longer believe in nostalgia and tradition.
New racetracks are accepted immediately because you don’t look at the political situation in the country, but only at the money.–
And Qatar or Saudi Arabia pay five times more (or even more) than the troubled organizers in Europe. Only Monte Carlo almost gets a free kiss on the hand because Formula 1 needs this street classic forever. Today in Qatar there is still no title decision. But on December 5th in Jeddah, in theory, Verstappen and Hamilton could be crowned. Or do you have to wait for Abu Dhabi a week later?

Well, in Saudi Arabia the new route will only be finished at the last second! “The last work will be completed there on the Thursday before the first training session,” says a man from the Formula 1 organization.

And then a historical sentence: “The racetrack will then be half a construction site, but you can drive on it!” The first layer of asphalt was not applied until September. Hopefully this one can withstand the heat in the desert.
