In Ukraine from 27 to 28 March at 03:00 the clock will be switched to daylight saving time in 2021. The hands of the clock will need to translate one hour forward. But the deputies wanted to accept the documentso that the inhabitants of our country stayed to live in winter time.
The charter stipulated that they would live in Ukraine according to Kiev time, including the temporarily occupied territories. OBOZREVATEL decided to clarify the situation and tell all the details.
In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill that cancels the mandatory seasonal time change. However, in the second, the deputies not enough votes for amendmentsallowing time to sign and publish the document.
Therefore, the people’s deputies failed the vote for the bill in the second reading and sent it to the committee for revision. Now at the end of March Ukrainians will still switch to summer time.

Note that the author of the document on the calculation of time referred to the opinion of the majority of scientists that the seasonal switch of arrows is harmful to health, and its role in saving electricity has not been proven.
Recall that earlier the Transport Committee of the European Parliament approved the cancellation of daylight saving time in the European Union since 2021.
