Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on multiple platforms – but also on the Nintendo Switch? We have the answer for you.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Fallen Order was already a great success and in Survivor we will now be able to explore new planets and expand our Jedi skills even further.
While many fans are excited for the release, some are wondering if they will even get a chance to play the game. Nintendo Switch players, in particular, may be curious to see if they can play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in the near or distant future, having already missed out on Fallen Order. This article will answer all of your main questions regarding the availability of Jedi: Survivor on the Switch.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on Nintendo Switch: publication unlikely
Unfortunately, the developers of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor currently have no plans to bring the game to the Switch. This is probably mainly because Jedi: Survivor was originally released alongside the PC for the next-gen PlayStation 5 consoles and Xbox Series X|S.
The game uses high quality graphics and gameplay elements primarily designed for the current consoles and PCs. This is also the reason why the game will not be released for the older consoles PS4 and Xbox One.
What a release of Eat: Survivor makes it even more unlikely on the Switch is the fact that the prequel Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was never released on Nintendo’s handheld either. Since Fallen Order was such a huge hit, Nintendo probably would have tried to release it on the Switch as well. The fact that this never happened suggests that the Switch simply isn’t technically strong enough to get Fallen Order running at an acceptable quality – and unfortunately Survivor certainly isn’t.
