Will Smith would be willing to play Deadshot again

Although The Suicide Squad introduced several characters and was positioned as a fairly independent film, the film directed by James Gunn also recovered some members of Suicide Squad e It featured figures like Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag, Viola Davis’s Amanda Waller, and Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang.

But why was Will Smith not part of The Suicide Squad? That is precisely what a Twitter user asked himself and in the “Undercover” segment of GQ Smith himself responded by pointing out that everything would have been an agenda item.

“Yes, I was working and they were ready to film”, Smith pointed out. “It was a matter of time.”

Smith continued to ask about the role of Idris Elba, who eventually brought Bloodsport to life although for a long time it was rumored and speculated that he might play other characters including a new version of Deadshot.

“They left Deadshot out, right? So is Idris playing a different character or is he playing Deadshot? “ Smith asked and after being confirmed that Elba is not Deadshot added: “Okay, great, so I can go back.”

Of course, Smith’s interest in returning to the role of Deadshot does not imply that this will necessarily happen, however, it does bring up an option that could undoubtedly be striking in the face of an eventual continuation of The Suicide Squad or other projects related to Task Force X.
