The future of Erling Haaland, a Borussia Dortmund sensation who has already scored 23 goals in 19 matches in Champions League throughout his career, is one of the big questions that will be answered in the next transfer window.
But negotiations over the next club the Norwegian striker will defend took a heavy toll over the weekend with the death of Italian businessman Mino Raiola, who managed the young star’s career.
It lost? we show again

O “Rafael Reis Blog” talked to people who specialize in the Ball Market international team to try to understand how the farewell of the agent, who also took care of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, will impact the steps that will be taken from now on by the third-placed team in the German Championship.
As Haaland’s contract was not with the individual Mino Raiola, but with his athlete agency company, One Sarl, shirt 9 will continue to be represented by the staff that already took care of his career.
“I don’t think [que terá algum impacto sobre o futuro de Haaland]. Rafaela has always been the negotiator. Mino, the ‘front man'”, analyzed the lawyer Marcus Motta, responsible for managing contracts for most of the top Brazilian players.
But this opinion is not unanimous.
Other professionals interviewed by the report (and who asked not to be identified) even agree that the Norwegian striker’s next transfer should not be impacted and that his likely destination will be Manchester City.
However, they believe that the striker’s chance of putting down roots at the English club and staying there for “a decade” or more has been greatly increased with Raiola’s death.
This is because the Italian businessman has always been at war with the managers of the teams that received his players. And he was also adept at a management philosophy along the lines of “between a contract renewal or a transfer, the better the transfer.”
Ibrahimovic, the player who really made Raiola internationally known, played for nine different clubs during his career and never went more than four seasons without changing teams. Italian Mario Balotelli followed the same path and has already worn ten different shirts.
Haaland was signed by Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of 2020, shortly after his breakout at Red Bull Salzburg. Despite having a contract with the Germans for another two years, he is expected to change airs in the next window because his €80 million release clause will come into effect from July.
In addition to the favorite City, the club where the striker’s father played at the beginning of the century, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern MunchenChelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain also showed interest at some point in Norwegian.
Before switching teams, Haaland still has one last mission at Dortmund: to secure the German runner-up. Two rounds from the end of the Bundesliga, the aurinegros are five points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, third place. As almost always happens there, Bayern took the title.
