Will there be a spectacular comeback in Hütteldorf? Markus Katzener is said to be returning to his long-standing club.

As reported by the “Kurier”, the current sporting director of Vienna should be at the center of interest of the green-and-whites. For five years, Katzer worked as a sports mastermind at the Hohe Warte, in the future he could be responsible for Rapid’s sporting fortunes.

Rapid’s new chairman Alexander Wrabetz announced at the Christmas party that game-changing decisions should be made before Christmas Eve.

Perhaps one of them is to install Katzener as the new sporting director. Zoran Barisic would probably remain on the bench and give up his previous double function.
